More Old School - Steal Your Heart

Today it’s Slave’s Steal Your Heart, from the 1981 LP Showtime. This album had better known cuts such as Wait For Me and Snap Shot. I remember hearing those cuts on the radio shortly after I graduated college that year, but I don’t recall ever hearing Steal Your Heart.
It was on Slave’s Stellar Fungk CD compilation (which I did pay for, BTW) that I heard Steal Your Heart for what seemed to be first time a few years ago, and I fell in love with it. I’m constantly playing this cut as I drive. And check out the animation added to the song (not by me). Enjoy!

LOL, glad you think so. i sure don’t feel like a “baby” with this 27th bday recklessly approaching.
You’re under 30. That makes you a baby. You’re only six years older than my daughter and I still consider her a baby, even if she does wear strapless dresses to her formal events at school (Daggone near had a heart attack when I saw her photos). And I don’t hesistate to remind her that I bathed her in the kitchen sink when she was a baby.
She still calls me “Daddy.” That’s how I know she’s a baby.

LOL! at the strapless dress thing. yessir, your baby is a woman
. i emphathize - i’ll never have the feelings a daddy has towards his girls, but i’ll be a close second. my daughters will be nuns - and i’m not even catholic.
my sister (almost 30) and i call our daddy “Daddy” also.
and our mommy will forever be “Mommy”. your daughter will call you that when she’s 63. it will never change!!
Yeah, she’s wearing strapless dresses. How dare she try to look like a woman! I’ve told her repeatedly that I’M the man in her life and she’s still my little girl!! Whoever she brings home is gonna have to go through me!!!
