Game Over

Profunksticated, like many of you just finished watching Michelle Obama’s beautifully delivered address to the Democratic National Convention Monday night. Then I damn near teared up seeing the daughters on stage say to their Dad via satellite, “I love you Daddy.”

The scene took me back to when my older daughter and son, now almost 21 and 19, were little. I’ll tell you guys something. They were both born in Denver. The Spouse and I were there for seven years. I wish I were back there tonight.

I’m now thinking, “Game over.”

Peace.

  1. Yeah, PRO!! Slam DUNK!!! I got a little peeved at commentators smiling and calling the moment cute while also referencing how the girls “disrupted” the closing. They were naturally two little girls who love their daddy, next POTUS or not.

I didn’t hear that from Keith Olbermann of MSNBC, but of course we all know he’s an unabased BHO fan. He said “Game over” just as I thought it. He and Chris Matthews thought the girls were being real and never called the moment disruptive. Michelle gave a wonderful speech.

  2. Michelle Obama’s speech last night was very inspiring. All Black women (and men) should be proud.

    Agreed.
